White privilege is privilege given to white people who do not earn, it is a good that they obtain; daily just because of skin color.; White. Peggy McIntosh describes white privilege as “an invisible, weightless backpack of special supplies, maps, passports, codes, visas, clothes, tools, and blank checks (McIntosh 1988, p175).” I believe white privilege equals racism because the word white privilege itself explains it. It is a privilege given and offered only to white people. If someone is given special privilege because they are white, then that is racism my day, week or year is going badly, I don't need to ask every bad incident or situation if it has racial overtones (McIntosh 1988, p177).” This explains that no matter what race you are or where you come from, it has nothing to do with how people look at your life if you have low integrity and have that kind of personality that people just don't believe in you , then it is not racism that is considered. I can have a bad day and I'm not going to blame a white person. Race is not a factor in this case. It's about the situation in my life. Growing up I never witnessed any white privilege, however, I was told to judge someone not by their skin but rather by their behavior and actions, although, now that I know that recognition of white privilege definitely makes me better for understand my life here in the United States. However, my family and I had a long wait at Boston's Logan Airport when we first moved there
