My studies of business, accounting and law at A level have made me a more well-rounded student, gaining a wide range of analytical and organizational skills, combined with a growing sense of appreciation for how interconnected society as a whole is, along with the contribution each individual can make to revive and stimulate our economy from a recession. The combination of subjects that I have decided to study over the 2 years at A level is substantially different, however it has a unique element of combination that I feel I can tackle and better understand economic concepts and theories. While the topics offer great variety, I enjoyed exploring the many connections between them, such as how economics influences behavior and conduct in businesses. It's fascinating to realize how much government decisions can influence how accounting firms are run.
