Martin King Luther Jr.'s famous "Letter from Birmingham Jail" is one of the best writings I have ever read for its ability to expound ideas and create a an in-depth idea and create an in-depth argument as to why what he was doing was right. Throughout this piece King used rhetoric to persuade his readers and create a convincing argument. The use of logos, ethos and pathos were all present as he attempted to win over a group of clergymen who contested his right to protest as an outsider and extremist. I think the use of logos was the most powerful and important because he logically demonstrates each point made objectively and uses indisputable evidence to support his claims.
