War and Appeal to the People: The Collapse of a Clean Invasion Nowadays, wars are not easy to exist unless negotiations fail or treaties fail are cancelled. The problem with the Vietnam War is that North Vietnam had broken the peace treaty with South Vietnam (which was supported by the US Army) in 1975 and then divided Vietnam into 2 parts: the North was communist and the Non-communist South. . During the Vietnam War, many students, or young American soldiers, and the army were destroyed by North Vietnamese troops, along with these results, many young protestors, especially in colleges; the students decided to speak out and convinced the elders to take their side, however not all adults welcomed these young protesters.
