“Williams says that his perspective and ideas relate to culture as a social practice, he saw “culture as an entire way of life” and as structuralism that makes the concept of the “structure of feeling” (Stuart Hall, “Cultural Studies: Two Paradigms” 1980). “William says he was influenced in the 1970s by Gramsci,” but he became familiar with Gramsci's rule and by the end of the 1970s hegemony became the central concept of cultural studies.
