Killer whales should not be kept in captivity because they have small tanks and little space to swim. Killer whales need to be in the wild where they can enjoy freedom. It wouldn't be nice for killer whales to be where they don't want to be. The three main reasons why killer whales should not be kept in captivity are that they are desperate, dangerous and unhappy. Killer whales are important because if we didn't have them we would have lots of fish, seals, sharks and many other marine animals. . Orcas have a lot of food to attack in the ocean and if they don't let them go, the popularity in the ocean will increase and the sharks will take over. Sharks and killer whales don't get along very well, so as you can imagine the sharks will start eating a lot of things and then eventually all the fish and seals will die out and then the sharks will have no food to eat and will die. We all need orcas back in the ocean to continue the cycle. Orcas have a role to play in life and if they're not there to participate, then it's really bad not having orcas in the animal cycle. people agreed with me that killer whales should not be kept in captivity because they don't have enough room to swim and because they simply don't like being away from their family. Some orcas get beaten up by other orcas because they don't get along very well. This causes the orcas to not like each other and therefore start to be aggressive towards each other. however my opinion is that killer whales should not be kept in captivity. It's sad to think about it and think about what to do to help, but then you feel guilty and think that you're the one who won't step up to help the endangered orcas. People agree with others that they shouldn't take trips to see killer whale shows. It will be much better if the orcas are released into the wild because they will be much happier. Seeing orcas enjoying freedom, swimming and splashing is something truly exciting to watch. If people were killer whales, perhaps they wouldn't want to be held in captivity because they would want to be free and roaming. No one can read your mind and tell you what you were thinking but only you can read and examine it, make yourself.
