When the need for bigger and better technology soon became not just a rivalry, but a business for two companies, Apple and Samsung soon began a feud that would be recognized throughout the world. The iPhone was the first in a large line of smartphones capable of completing tasks that made driving, talking, texting, education, and all aspects of life easier. Apple had truly surpassed all other smartphone companies until Samsung developed the Galaxy phone in May 2012. This phone had some features that were not present on the iPhone and had stolen some ideas from the Apple company as well. This battle between the companies soon leads to a lawsuit between the two where Samsung was forced to pay Apple for stealing some ideas. Since then, that hasn't stopped either company from producing smartphones that consistently get bigger and better with each new creation. Smartphones are not the only “intelligent” creation that has happened in recent times. Companies like Vizio and Samsung have now created smart TVs with Internet access, Bluetooth programming, and recording options for when you can't watch your favorite movie or TV show. This technological advancement would definitely stop our grandparents and make them think. We have certainly come a long way from “colorful”.”
