The literature on stevia sugar and its effects shows a variety of approaches. A considerable amount of literature has been published on stevia, and previous studies indicate that stevia is a great product as it promotes many health benefits. Rajesh et al. (2010) studied the effects of Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni extract on antitumor activity in mice. The results of his research have shown that at doses of 100 and 300 mg/kg/ip it significantly inhibits cell proliferation. The results also showed a decrease in body weight, total cell count and cholesterol level. However, it turned out that the results obtained depended on the dosage. Anton et al. (2010) conducted research to determine the effects of aspartame, stevia, and sucrose on food intake, satiety, and postprandial glucose and insulin levels. They found that participants did not compensate by eating when they consumed a lower calorie preload containing stevia or aspartame. A major disadvantage of this approach was that participants' eating behavior was measured in a laboratory setting and not in a natural setting...
