Some people think you need to be an adult to make a difference in the world around you, but so many teenagers have changed the course of history forever. Most people would be surprised by some of the inventions or accomplishments of teenagers. Some of the world's greatest minds got their start in adolescence. Some teenagers can make an impactful change that no adult could ever make simply because of their age. Alexander the Great was the ruler of Macedonia from 334 BC to 323 BC. At the age of thirty he conquered the entire known world and fought an undefeated battle documentation. At the age of thirteen, Alexander began his studies with the philosopher Aristotle, and learned from him until the age of sixteen. While his father was at war, Alexander was regent of Macedonia. While regent, Alexander suppressed the revolt of Madei, a small tribe, and renamed it Alexandroupolis.
