Mya Angelou Phenomenal WomanPhenomenal Mya Angelou was born on April 4, 1928 in rural Arkansas. Surprisingly, what many people don't know is that Ms. Mya Angelou was born with the name Marguerite Ann Johnson. Ms. Mya Angelou is an American author who has published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, and several books of poetry. Ms. Mya Angelou is also credited with a list of plays, films and television programs spanning more than fifty years of phenomenal literary works (Mya Angelou). He has also made appearances in several films in his career. Beyond that, Ms. Mya Angelou has had a varied career, lived a full life and is still living it. Ms. Mya Angelou had the chance to showcase her many talents as a singer, dancer, actress, songwriter and make history by becoming Hollywood's first black female director of her time, but as I said at the beginning Ms. Mya Angelou is most famous as an award-winning writer, editor, playwright, and poet. Ms. Mya Angelou also served as a spokesperson for women during the fight for civil rights for African American men and women. Ms. Mya Angelou worked for and with the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his counterpart, the late Malcolm X. Ms. Mya Angelou was also an educator and continues to add to her list of accomplishments. The Lord has truly blessed Ms. Mya Angelou and continues to bless her as the years go by. In all honesty in my opinion I believe that Ms. Mya Angelou is truly a phenomenal woman. Having said that, I chose to do my analysis on one of Ms. Mya Angelou's famous poems entitled Phenomenal Woman. First, to have a complete understanding of what phenomenal woman… middle of paper… style is; to mood; as far as patterns go, overall I would say this is a phenomenal poem. In my opinion this poem encourages all women, regardless of size, color or situation. Phenomenal Woman in my opinion gave a clear representation of what she was trying to say about the female body, female attitude and female characteristics. Ms. Mya Angelou is an inspiration to all women, and this is clearly seen not only in this particular poem but in all of her poems, essays, books, and films. This poem, Phenomenal Woman, is not only a great poem but a beautiful story. Mrs. Mya Angelou thought well that when she writes this poem I recommend it to anyone. Whether Black, White, Mexican, Latino, Chinese, or any race in between, this poem is for everyone. No matter the age or situation, Phenomenal Woman is definitely, in my opinion, a phenomenal story.
