The institution of Marxism or in other words political correctness, began in Germany in 1923, the main aim at that time was to find ways to implement communism in Russia. As we all know, communism believes in the social group and not the individual. Political correctness deals with social communication and deals with replacing offensive words considered discriminatory towards certain groups of society. Robert Allen also defined political correctness by stating that "the political correctness movement is also dedicated to promoting alternative terminology that seeks to assert a positive over negative qualities." since the inception of the politically correct term went through three phases: the first was used in favor of those whose views remained in sync with every moving Bolshevik party, the second phase was in the 1960s and once again was used favorably by the new radicals left. The last phase was when it was used negatively by conservatives in America. Political correctness has three categories: the first is offensive such as gay or retarded, these words refer to people as insults for undesirable concepts. The second is subtle like policeman and postman, these words influence our way of thinking because they imply that those roles are only for men, the last one is as blatant as the n word to refer to black, these words are very offensive. In summary, political correctness is a term used to describe language aimed at minimizing offense (I love the English language). The newspaper discusses political correctness with articles in favor and others against. Like everything in the world, political correctness has its supporters and... Mr. Younkins is one of the people who are against... middle of document ......2009) political correctness builds an inclusive society in where people from different backgrounds are offered equal opportunities. Another article that defends political correctness talks about the people who are against this movement do not want to be polite or civil to people different from them, the important thing for these people is to do what they want when they want even if they have used offensive word to which it doesn't matter (angry black woman 2007). This article ends by saying that political correctness is very important for language and we need to fight for it, so let's make sure people use it. Allan Goldstein has the same opinion as the two authors before saying that "political correctness is a small price to pay to keep the peace between large groups of indignant people", he means that people don't like political correctness but we need it so the people can live peacefully.
