Did you know that the United States has the highest rate of teen pregnancies in the world?. Abstention is the only certain way to prevent teenage pregnancy. Refraining will help our rates go down and stay low. Canada has the highest abortion rate. I would much rather have higher teen pregnancy rates, than high abortion rates. At least we are not killing children in the United States. Pregnancy rates increased from 1.1% to 28.2% from 2006 to 2010. Teens are physically and mentally unable to care for a child. This is one of the reasons why the abortion rate in Canada is high. Every year, more than 15,000 Canadian women between the ages of 15 and 19 have an abortion. 30% of Canadian women will have an abortion in their lifetime. Who would most likely have more miscarriages? Women 19 years old or younger tend to have more miscarriages than older women. The younger the girl, the more difficult it is to take care of the child. Caring for a child is hard enough, no matter how old you are. You need to make sure that you are able to provide for your child. In most cases, not all of the child's father will leave. The father cannot bear all that reasonableness of a child. It's sad to say, because it takes two to make a baby. Life would be easy if it only took one person to make a child and that would be the mother. Your child should never suffer from injuries because the father is not in his life. Girls tend to resort to abortion more because they are physically unable to take care of the baby and they realize it. Sometimes, mothers do this because they know that the father will not be in the child's life. They wouldn't be able to do it all on their own. Another reason why the adolescent resorts to abortion is because his parents do not do it...... middle of paper ......of Human Sexuality 21.3 (2012): 161-75. ProQuest.Web. November 4, 2013.
