What is love? Love is a strong affection that arises from personal bonds. Those who misunderstand and abuse it will have terrible consequences, and those who know its true meaning will benefit. The example of misunderstanding will happen when a person mixes their feelings with love, something terrible. For example: jealousy, manipulation of one and the other, distrust and desire for power. In William Shakespeare's Macbeth, love took many different forms, some bad and some good. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth's desire towards the crowned woman is an example of misunderstanding of love. Lady Macbeth manipulates her husband to kill King Duncan is another example of misunderstanding about love. Lady Macbeth subsequently suffers from nightmares because she abuses the concept of love. Macbeth suffers from his own problem which is the prophecy of death. On the other hand, Maduff and his family are the ones who use love in a positive way. Lady Macduff's loving protection of her son, of her son protects his father, of Macduff to protect his family. Even though Macbeth is ordered to kill the Macduff family, Macduff still survives the suffering, he uses this as power to avenge his family. Macduff ultimately becomes the winner, which is the example of those who use it wisely can benefit from it or have good feedback. The first time he indicates that Macbeth abuses love as a desire is right after hearing about what the witches told him. He lost in his desire, “My thought, whose murder is yet but fantastic, so shakes my only state of man That function is smothered in supposition, And nothing is but that which is not. (Act 1, scene 3, line 151-155).” At this moment he is already... in the center of the paper... with his head on his hand. He takes revenge on his son and his love, Lady Macduff and what he gets is a peaceful night respecting others. He turned anger into his power and was blessed by his family. Those who know how to use love can benefit from it. Love is a lot, sometimes love can manifest itself by kissing someone or simply caring for someone. Sometimes people manipulate love into something else thinking they are doing it for the right reasons. Those who misunderstand and abuse it will have terrible consequences, and those who know its true meaning will benefit. Anyone who doesn't use it in the right way will end up like Macbeth because he will lose his mind. Those who use its property will end up getting something good, although there may be some obstacles in the process, but as long as it manages to survive, then everything will end well.
