Topic > Sustainability for the environment and construction - 797

IntroductionNowadays, research on the design of green buildings and the use of building materials to minimize environmental impact is already developed and l Construction has been blamed for causing environmental problems in global resources in aspects of building construction and operation to the hazardous and contamination of the surrounding environment (Ding 2008). However, depending on the design or the project itself, achieving the goal of sustainable development and construction or reducing impacts through appropriate on-site management is not satisfactory enough to handle the problem at hand (Ding 2008). However, according to (Ding 2008 ), relying on a project's design to achieve the goal of sustainable development or to minimize impacts through appropriate on-site management is not sufficient to manage the current problem. To improve and promote economic, social, cultural and political conditions, sustainable development is the right to development implies the right. Furthermore, sustainable construction can be considered an investment for the future. By conserving energy, water and natural resources through reuse, recycling, innovative design and minimizing waste and pollution we can meet our needs without including the needs of future generations (Suliman and Omran 2009 ). To bring about change in the future, provide and sustain desirable natural and social environments, and maximize the efficient use of resources, sustainable construction is the set of processes through which a profitable and competitive industry provides built goods such as buildings, structures, infrastructure of support and their immediate surroundings that improve the quality of life and offer customer satisfaction (Suliman and Omran 2009) The...... middle of paper ......
