Gun control is a growing problem. It occurs all over the world without limits or borders. To date, the United States of America is experiencing many problems with gun control. The definition of gun control is any law or policy based on the restriction or limitation of anything involving firearms. This includes, but is not limited to, possession of firearms, manufacturing, shipping, selling, and even use of firearms. There are currently some gun control laws in place. Every country has its own in the world, but the United Kingdom is the strictest of all when it comes to gun ownership. The United States of America, on the other hand, is one of the countries with the most lenient gun control laws. However, gun control laws have changed dramatically in the United States over the past 10 years. It has also become one of the most discussed and controversial topics in today's society. I am convinced that gun control will hurt us more than help us. Over the past 10 years, gun control has evolved and changed dramatically. There have been a number of new laws and policies that have been enacted or rejected. According to a poll conducted between December 14 and 16, 2012, 57 percent of Americans would like to see new laws and policies to support gun control. However, in March 2012, the percentage of those who supported gun control was only 39%. By analyzing these statistics you can see how gun control is receiving a lot of support and changing from what we used to think. If you go back another 10 years, only 5% of Americans support any form of gun control. As Thomas Jefferson once stated. “laws prohibiting the carrying of weapons… disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes… … middle of the page … t of this memoir. In short it states that just because the gun has a sporting purpose and can be used for a sporting purpose does not mean it is a sporting weapon. The sporting purpose is also legally vague and I imagine the courts will fight in a few years. In conclusion, gun control is something that will always be debated. Whether it's right or wrong is up to you to decide. By choosing the right politicians you can let others know what you believe, because ultimately they are the ones who make the laws. Hopefully we can find a solution to resolve the mess America is in right now. Works Cited Kirgiz, Allen. http://rense.com/general85/obs.htm. Nap... Web.
