Global warming is a big surprise for our planet and its nature. It gradually sweeps away everything that exists on the earth's surface. In recent years, global warming and climate change have become one of the most important issues, causing concern among people. Global warming is an increase in the average temperature of the Earth's surface. It has several negative impacts on the environment and its inhabitants. Many factors can cause global warming, but the most significant one is greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases have negative effects on the climate and cause the melting of the polar ice caps, acid rain and the destruction of the ozone layer. The significant effect of global warming is the emission of greenhouse gases, which has numerous negative environmental impacts. Fossil fuels are known as a major cause of global warming. When fossil fuels such as natural gas, coal and oil are burned, they release carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide into the air. However, most of our energy sources come from fossil fuels, which are primarily responsible for air pollution and global warming. For example, one of the main sources of air pollution is the emission of chemical gases by industries. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), “50% of pollution in the United States has been found to be caused by industrial processes.” Due to the release of heat-trapping gases into the air, the temperature of the atmosphere rises, this causes flash floods and high tides. Polluted air contains high levels of carbon dioxide and other dangerous chemical gases. When these pollutants are released, they trap heat in the atmosphere and the result is a warmer climate. Therefore, the increase in temperature causes the melting of the polar ice caps which is very harmful... middle of paper... rain, which damages woods and forests. Furthermore, the emission of greenhouse gases causes holes in the ozone layer, which can cause diseases, especially skin problems in humans. It is our responsibility to save this planet from destruction and we can fight global warming by planting more trees to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the air.
