Topic > A personal account of my appreciation for the privilege of being admitted to the National Honor Society

It is a great privilege to be one of the students given the opportunity to be a part of the National Honor Society. I've actually been waiting for this moment since I graduated Arista middle school. The invitation proves that my hard work and commitment to becoming one of the best students in the school were worth it. Say no to plagiarism. Last school year I had a 3.92 GPA (95.26% average) and a 98% average last semester. I am proud of this average and also strive to improve further, especially if I want to be part of the NHS and nursing programme. I also plan to pursue the Advanced Regents Diploma and have already completed most of the requirements for it. Even though I don't have a real sports team, I am a member of the choir at church. Being in my church choir taught me four things: teamwork, hard work, respect, and leadership. My church is a branch church, so I sometimes travel to different places for conferences, meetings and different programs. To be part of a choir, you must be able to lead the church and choir team in songs and more. In meetings we discuss many topics, such as how to organize programs where we invite people to participate in many different activities. The church is like family to me, so learn to appreciate and respect it. Even in my former middle school in Nigeria, before I moved to the one here, I participated in different activities such as cleaning the school, helping serve food, and playing inter-house sports. My service, my leadership, my character, and my scholarship are things that push me to be better at what I do. And to be better at what I do, I have to work harder. An induction into the National Honor Society would truly be a privilege to be proud of for the rest of my life.
