A few weeks ago, Apple Music released a commercial of Taylor Swift doing a cardio workout on the treadmill while rapping to Drake and Future's song "Jumpman." On the surface, it seemed like it would just be that commercial until another one came out last week in which Swift is getting ready for a party or a date and is lip-syncing to the 2001 pop punk hit "The Middle." by Jimmy Eat World. These commercials are so effective because they show probably the most famous person in the world doing what we “ordinary humans” do. Not only that, the commercials promote a 3-month free trial of the music subscription service. It will get people to subscribe for those 3 months and see that it is a quality service (I know because I signed up for the subscription when it started last summer), then they will continue it for $10 a month.
