Get an Original Essay The lead programmer works from start to finish on the development and management of a game, directing the team to stay on time and on budget. This ensures that anyone who uses the data is responsible for that data. This means that anyone using the data must adhere to data protection principles, which include the correct and lawful use of the data and that the data is kept safe, secure, accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. There are 8 data protection principles that employers must adhere to. Since this role will be doing the hiring, this role is responsible for adhering to this act. This is relevant to Gascon Games because it means that all employee and customer information must be held in accordance with data protection law. This means that it must be stored safely, carefully, must not be stored longer than necessary and must be used for its intended use. This legislation makes unauthorized access to your computer and its material illegal, as well as access with the intention of committing a further crime. This act also covers modification of computer equipment without the user's consent/authorization. This is relevant to Gascon Games because it means that, as the lead programmer, you are responsible for the team. You must ensure that the code created by the team adheres to the Computer Misuse Act, i.e. that it cannot contain a virus or any other malicious piece of code, as this would violate the Computer Misuse Act. This piece of legislation ensures that all people are treated equally, regardless of race, religion or gender. This means that any hiring made by the lead programmer cannot be discriminatory. This means that all assumptions cannot be made based on these points. On top of that, employees in the same job cannot be discriminated against in terms of pay, meaning that an employee paid a certain amount per job, cannot have another in the same job paid more – possible discrimination. This is relevant to Gascon Games because it affects hiring, which means that employees who have the same job in the company must be paid the same, regardless of their race, religion, gender or anything else. If they are not, it may be a violation of this law. This does not affect pay between employees doing different jobs, because employees doing different jobs should be expected to have different salaries.
