Final Project: Philadelphia Eagles The social media I chose to analyze was that of the Philadelphia Eagles. Through Twitter, the organization hopes to reach fans ranging in age from a teenager to an adult in their thirties. Twitter is a newer platform and is mostly used and dominated by younger generations. Because this generation is always attached to their phones and computers, Twitter is the easiest way for Eagles to spread information, offer advertising and receive survey feedback. Finally, the Instagram page offers a similar attraction to that of Twitter, but the approach is very different. By posting only photos and videos, the organization hopes to please the entire Philadelphia community. All photos are of the Eagles, but this is where you can see fan photos as well as photos of Philadelphia itself and the community as a whole. Likewise, the target audience is the younger generations because they are always on Instagram. Furthermore, this platform is also used to share information quickly and effectively.
