I think maintenance is the most difficult stage of behavior change because it is the stage where you maintain your job. For me this means maintaining the weight loss as it was before. My main concern at this stage, at least in my case, was to maintain control in my diet and continue to exercise so that I can have a better life and better health. I think it's all about what your goals are and how hard you want to achieve them. In my case I wouldn't let go and I wouldn't change person. In other words, I will be what I want to be and I will make it happen. Losing weight has been a big challenge for me because I have to revisit my mother, house rules and some cultures' theories about how a young woman should behave and what are safe and unsafe conditions to go and play with other children. I truly believe this was my mother's main concern and that's why she always keeps me in the house
