The Australian healthcare system is considered world-class for its effectiveness and efficiency. It consists of the mixed system of healthcare providers in both private and public sectors. The financing mechanism is very beneficial for the entire citizen and consists of the 30% discount, pharmaceutical benefit and state healthcare. In particular, Medicare guarantees all Australian citizens access to free and low-cost medical, optometric and hospital care with a special option for private health services in special circumstances. In an effort to further improve the Australian healthcare system, an initiative was formulated in December 2008 at the Australian Health Ministers' Conference for a national eHealth strategy. This aims to formulate consolidated medical information of all Australians with the aim of optimizing the quality and efficiency of healthcare through electronic communications and information technology to ensure the right healthcare information at the right time and place in in order to guarantee privacy. This initiative was highly regarded as a major achievement by the incumbent government after its complete implementation. After its inception, it was forwarded to the Senate Community Affairs Committee and known as the “Health Identifiers (HI) Act,” as proposed by Ms. Nicola Roxon, Minister of Health. Health, for investigations and reports on significant changes. The Secretary of Health has relied on Medicare as a secure custodian of medical information. In this case, the HI bill will not have many objections and will gain support from the Senate committee and thus gain favorable approval. This bill aims to provide every Australian with a 16-digit identity number and more than 600,000 healthcare professionals such as pharmacists, psychologists, podiums......half of paper......rely on strict adherence to good morals and good conduct to ensure order and maximum benefit for all.
