Topic > The Neolithic Er The New Stone Age - 633

Have you ever thought about where modern technology evolved from? Well, thanks to the Neolithic, also known as The New Stone Age. Believe it or not, the first technologies were created twelve thousand years ago (Neolithic period). Most of the tools were made of stones. Agriculture and plants were also a great development. During this period, people abandoned the nomadic lifestyle. Instead of traveling, they settled for a permanent post. This allowed them to graze and use the animals as tools. Domestication was very important to them. As they learned to farm, the development of small towns became available. Sometimes they settled near a river valley. In this way water and fertile land were made available for agriculture (Giotto). Planting was an important evolution as it allowed agriculture to multiply. As more and more resources became available, the population grew. As the population grew, villages became available. At this point, civilization grew rapidly. People learned to use animal skin as clothing, learned to weave and make pottery. Archaeologists have traced jewelry and artifacts to this period. A city called Catal Hoyuk has indications of artifacts (Giotto). Frescoes have been found on the walls of the houses located there. Archaeologists also stated that Neolithic cities had trade with each other. The knives found by Catal Hoyuk from another city called Jericho. Jericho is said to be the oldest city in the world (Giotto). There is a possibility that the exchange of goods was likely during this era. Could they have started the world's first trading system? There is a possibility. The New Stone Age made more progress as people adapted to new change. Even though they were limited, the... middle of paper....... If they can do it, why can't we? For example: Why can't we still find the cure for cancer? Or why are we still fighting for oil? The Neolithic people created a new settlement for us. They accepted the challenge of creating a new world. They may have gone through hardships, but they succeeded. Reading this time period also taught me not to give up and that there is a way. If they can do it, we can do it too. It will take hard work, but thinking about leaving a legacy behind is a great feeling. If I stick to my plans, my future looks bright. I accept the challenge. Whatever overcomes my obstacle, I will take it one step at a time. Thanks to the Neolithic we have new possibilities that grow every day. Our civilization is becoming more and more complex with the creation of new technology. What our world will be like in the next century?
