In the Pocono Mountains of northern Pennsylvania, CameronKocher fatally shot his seven-year-old friend with a high-powered hunting rifle. Kocher was playing video games with the girl before the shooting. She told him she was better at the game than him, then went out with her other friends to go snowmobiling. Kocher's parents wouldn't let him ride snowmobiles with the rest of the group. He went to his father's gun locker, retrieved a shotgun, loaded it, pointed it out the window of their home and shot the girl in the back as she and a friend walked by. There is no information about Kocher's past, but one could assume that he grew up in an "abusive" family. He may have seen his father shoot animals and take them home and thought nothing of it when he shot and killed his seven-year-old friend from the back of a snowmobile in March 1989.
