After the last two quarters and with March just around the corner, everyone is looking forward to their Spring Break vacation. Luckily, I have a decent amount of money saved up that will allow me to go somewhere nice and warm for spring break and soak up the sun! I decided to travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. In this essay I will compare and contrast the two websites based on the following: type of information on the website, ease of maneuvering around the entire website, ease of booking, and aesthetic appeal of the website. I chose the two hotels where I decided to book my holiday: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Bávaro Princess Resort. Both the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Bávaro Princess Resorts websites have different types of information on their websites. The Hard Rock hotel has its own website for this Punta Cana location. When you first open the web page, the website presents an interactive slideshow of special offers and photos of the location and links to different services offered by the hotel. For example: rooms, spas, casinos, restaurants, planning an event, area attractions and their current specials, all at a glance. When you scroll down the webpage, a pop-up screen lets you choose your arrival and departure time and offers you different room rates. Hard Rock's website also allows you to book flights through their website. The bottom of the web page allows links to information such as: contact information, special offers, information about the brand, latest news, on-site events, and how to follow the brand on different types of social media. Secondly, Bávaro Princess Resort does not have a specific website for this specific location, but the brand website allows you to choose on a... medium of paper ......will help your hotel: identity uniform branding, getting more consumers, standing out from the competition and attention to detail is all that matters.
