Topic > The American Dream: Success, Happiness and Money

I believe that the American Dream today is based on success, happiness and money. The reason I think this is because the reason people go through all those years of school is to become succufal, in exchange for success you earn money, and thanks to money you can get and do the things you want, which in return makes you happy. Happiness isn't just money, it also has to do with love. Let's first start by talking about success and the money part. American children start school at the tender age of four. In kindergarten you are taught to get along with other children, to share and color lines. In kindergartenFirst you get an introduction. to reading and writing, and in some schools a little simple addition and subtraction. Then from there we move on to elementary school, from first to fifth grade. Over the years you have been taught a lot of math, reading, writing and even calligraphy in screenwriting. You also get a taste of history. When you reach middle school you learn in greater depth everything you have learned in previous years. Eventually, in high school, everything you've learned is intensified, you prepare for collage, and you learn more about everything. So you have to make a decision, if you want to be successful and earn a lot of money you have to go to collage, for at least four years, at the end of that ordeal you can settle down with a bachelor's degree, or one or two less for a master's degree. This will bring a decent income. But if you want a really good job you don't need three or four years to get a doctorate or a law degree. What I just described is what a modern American kid has to go through to be considered successful and have money, that is. we are talking about 22 tears from different types of schools. spend almost thirty percent of your life in school so that the rest of your years can be good. Finally I will talk about happiness. Many people think that bad luck revolves around money, and many people don't think that. Personally I think it does to some extent. I think you don't need to be rich or successful to be loved and have a beautiful family.
