In the United States, marijuana is classified as a class A drug, but in reality, marijuana is known to help treat and fight many illnesses and diseases. Marijuana is criticized by people who have never studied the drug or even know the medicinal benefits of the drug. Over the years, marijuana has been called a gateway drug to harder narcotics, but this is not the case. Marijuana has many medicinal benefits that the media and government avoid revealing to society, but it is time we come forward with the facts and truths about this herb called marijuana. Marijuana should not be illegal or even considered a class A drug. Marijuana from the early 1800s to 1936 was used as a cash crop and was grown more than corn and even tobacco due to its resources. throughout the United States and other countries marijuana strain fiber from the hemp plant was used to make many items. Hemp, popularized in the 1800s, is the strong thread with which marijuana was used to make paper, clothing, furniture, etc. At one point it would replace cotton and wood, even the Declaration of Independence was written on hemp. paper.
