Management may be an inevitable part of business, unavoidable and ever-present in any organization. Whether you are a new manager or an existing manager looking to develop your skills, there is always room for development. Leaders must motivate their employees and colleagues, display self-confidence and little self-doubt, and finally, most importantly, a leader must provide a compelling vision for the future. An example of a high-profile person with exemplary leadership skills is Bill Gates, who despite his early failures, with continued passion and innovation led Microsoft and the software industry to many successes.
