This book was based on the basic ideas of communism. Karl Marx, Fredrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky had proposed an idea of communism. Socialism. Socialism means income equality and nothing else. Socialism is a type of economic system in which the means of production and distribution should be in the hands of the people. Socialism does not make society classless as class differences are reduced but not eliminated. Its aim is to socialize the means of distribution and exchange of production. Socialists believe that land and capital should belong to everyone but not to a few wealthy classes. Socialism would ensure economic equality for all. Socialism is an equalizer and leveler. Socialism eliminates the antisocial form of competition, because competition is unfair and leads to waste. In socialism all factors of production should be used by the people and for the people. Socialism is a social theory and is based on the idea that governments should own and control a nation's resources rather than individuals. Socialists believe that all human beings are social by nature and that society should own their properties, not individuals. The main supporters of violence and revolution of the communists are uncivilized. Civilized people cannot approve of them. In socialism the state may not run businesses because people will not care as much about work as they do about private businesses. Production can be reduced to the poverty level. In socialism there is the possibility of corruption and personal spite because socialism means authoritarianism and bureaucracy on a larger scale. Conclusion Both ideologies were created for the benefit of society. Socialism and communism are equally focused on protecting the common man. Both principles are always focused on the centralized organization in which goods and services are produced, owned and controlled by people. A healthy communist system results in a classless and cooperative society. In socialism, all members of the economy share the benefits and are free to retain property..
