Topic > Essay on Charity - 658

Charity refers to donation or organizations or a place or entertainment. The practice of charity can involve acts such as the practice of generosity. In this essay I will examine several elements of charity in relation to the Summa Theologiae. As a first point to start, charity is explained as a two-way component, which has charity itself and followed by wisdom. The first consideration is given in a five-way perspective, which has charity itself, the objects of charity, its acts, the contrasting vices and the principles related to them. The first part of “charity itself” constitutes the main discussion in this essay. These two parts include itself and charity considered as itself. I will try to explain the different roles of charity as “itself” which consists of these different aspects in which charity plays a role. Whether charity is friendship? Whether charity is created in the soul? Whether it is a virtue?  Whether it is a unique virtue? Whether it is a virtue? Whether it is the greatest virtue? Whether there is any true virtue without it? Whether it is the form of all virtues? For the first case of charity, be friendship and that's not true. Charity is not friendship because nothing is as close as existing with your friend. This is the doubt that is attributed to philosophers. And charity is exercised by man towards God but does not exist among men. This argues that charity is not friendship. According to the Bible, Christ talks about true friendship. It is here that the fear of God and the teachings of the divine scriptures unite men. Contrary to this, Jo.xv.15 quotes “I will not now call you servants… but my friends” according to the philosopher's argument; this statement was said by reason and... in the center of the card... and is more important than its topic or purpose. On the other hand, Augustine argues that charity is a virtue, which unites us with God, when our friendliness or friendship is focused in a specific medium. We can see that charity works adequately for its purpose. This tells us that the effectiveness of an act depends on the power or intentions of the person conducting the act. Therefore, it is evident that charity is not presumption. But it is the product of an effect that derives from a justification of the soul, because it puts us in relationship with God, and it can be a proof of a divine power, in which charity plays an important role. In conclusion in this essay I have tried to describe both sides of the three attributes of charity; if charity is friendship? Is charity created in the soul? Is it a virtue? and finally came out with some opinions and conclusions.
