My Life's Purpose Some people in this world are born to do great things, as far as I know, I'm here trying to find myself. We all impact the world in one way or another. I'd like to do something that's awesome and one day I hope to find it. I'm here in college to figure out if I want to study environmental science, chemistry, criminal justice, or something completely different. I'm excited to try new things and meet new people, and hope to find something I'm good at. I will set goals, be here in college and explore careers. Many people in the world impact the world in many ways, such as doctors, nurses, firefighters, etc. They help save people when they need it most, because they want it. Or we have people in this world who try to speak up and don't like what they see and/or hear. These people who are truly incredible. Like Rosa Parks who sat in the front of the bus because she didn't like having to sit in the back because of the color of her skin. Just something like that impacts the world, we still talk about it here today. Or Malala who spoke out because she didn't like the education reserved for women in her country. And because she stood up, they shot her for doing something she believes in. “Be the change you wish to see in the world” The brilliant Mahatma Gandhi spoke these words. If you want to do something amazing you just have to go out and do it. “A college is a place where pebbles are polished and diamonds darkened,” said Robert Ingersoll. College is a great way to find yourself (so I've heard). I know I haven't been a college student for very long, however I know it's a lot different than high school. I pay attention... half the paper... ect, like going out and picking up rubbish around the city, or we had to pick up the rubbish within 48 hours to see how much rubbish we had and it's crazy how much rubbish we can collect in just two days. It was interesting to hear about so many things that are going wrong in our world. And finally, I thought it would be very interesting to specialize in criminal justice. Help solve problems. I don't know what they do in the criminal justice field, but I like watching “48 Hours,” a TV show about detectives who solve murders. It's very interesting to me to see how they solve these murders with little to no evidence. I know there are some murders that can go unsolved for years. Hopefully maybe not this year, but next year I will choose a major that I will love and be good at. “Life is so short and time is a thief when you are indecisive” said Rob Stewart.
