A common argument against this position is that the school board wants students to go to school for the necessary number of hours. It may be true that leaving school places a lot of responsibility on the student to not get in trouble or be late for future classes, except that there should still be a chance for the student to prove themselves in schools. Of course, until there is a written version of such consequences and procedures in school textbooks, blame for incidents could be placed on schools and legal action could be taken against them. While it is true that dropping out of school early is not something that is shown or talked about during the high school years, it does not necessarily follow that it cannot be done later in the high school career with the correct reasons and precautions on the part of the systems schools. Getting freedom from schools is an important thing for those students who demonstrate that they have the responsibility and mentality to not mess up outside. Have the opportunity to demonstrate your responsibility to the school and your teachers. In general, students should have more freedom and the ability during their senior year to be able to leave and return if necessary, as most senior students are ahead in credits and need study halls and
