It is very easy to hurt someone if you are not attentive and focused on the task. When I saw the instructor demonstrate and successfully perform bloodletting on a student, I was still unsure of my abilities. After the demonstration it was my turn to do this task. I took a deep breath, followed the correct procedures and techniques and opted for the draw. It was a victory to see the blood flow through the vacutainer.
