If religion was great, why did it start so many wars? Why does he build huge churches but fail to feed the poor? He can't solve problems, so he tries to mask them. Jesus came to save people like me. I was religious. I always went to church on Sunday, but on Friday or Saturday I forgot about Jesus. I cared more about living recklessly than living my life as a Christian. I behaved no differently than any non-believer. I tried to hide my mistakes by acting like a normal church kid on Sunday. I now understand that the purpose of the church is to help sinners, not avoid them. There's nothing for me to hide
