For women in America I feel if you don't want to be a victim then don't play the role. This was a valuable lesson in further investigating my feelings about feminism and exploring how these feelings can affect me when interacting with individuals with feminist views opposite to my own. I believe that the best way to project an impartial attitude when dealing with such a patient is to handle the situation as I would someone from a different cultural background.
