As a progressive I believe in problem solving and skill building, because in today's society if we don't teach correctly and students don't show any improvement, he will not be able to work and/or be hired in a company without skills. Especially for math and reading skills. I will describe education as an individual and unique experience for each student who participates in a class. So that children can benefit from what the school offers. However, education must promote the physical, mental and social development of the individual. Education also benefits both students and the community, when I was a first grade substitute teacher I was interviewing kids asking them who they wanted to become after college, some kids said they would be a lawyer, doctor, and leader of the future. According to Montessori children have a natural desire and ability to learn, which I agree because we all have different learning abilities, some learn through sight and others through hearing. This is how we grow because each of us has our own way of learning and has different skills to put into practice. As existentialists they believe in personal, moral and spiritual improvement. This I think is the purpose of most curricula presented in classrooms around the world, especially focusing more on reading. Most education is supposed to provide a curriculum aimed at promoting job-readiness skills by promoting self-esteem. We need to teach students what they need to know
