Every day when I enter my room, the honorary badges, awards and certificates I received during my school days bring back the satisfaction and happiness I felt when I obtained them. Most of the three awards I received were given to me based on my leadership skills and the capabilities I have demonstrated over the years. Therefore, from the experiences I have had, I am confident in presenting myself as a leader. I think one of the first traits I have as a leader is my ability to inspire and motivate people. Over the years, in various leadership positions, I have always given my all to motivate and inspire people, especially those in need. For example, when I was the captain of my high school's soccer team, we were playing an away semifinal against one of our school's fiercest soccer rivals. Unfortunately we conceded two goals in the first half. As we approached halftime, everyone was on the floor. During the half-time team talk, my vice-captain and I spoke to the rest of the team for the whole fifteen minutes and I think that changed the balance of the rest of the game. When I think about those fifteen minutes we didn't just talk about the tactics we were going to use in the second half, but rather we talked more about the hard work we had done before, the skill we have and, above all, the attitude we have to fight as a team. team to inspire a comeback and win the match. Personally, most of the things I told them were motivational rather than tactical because I believed we could have overcome them if we were more confident and acted as a team. We managed to come back from two goals down and draw the match. Towards the end of regular time, in the last corner kick of the match, we scored and won the......middle of paper......members, we raise funds for different social reasons and launch different programs such as helping orphans, poor children, etc. None of this would have been possible without the right people. Even in the high school soccer tournament, if the right players hadn't been chosen for certain roles, we couldn't have won the game. All these qualities help me establish myself as a leader. While there are many other things that help strengthen my leadership skills, I believe my ability to inspire, start businesses as a social entrepreneur, and select the right people and delegate responsibilities to them are just some of the most important characteristics I have. All these qualities that I possess help me shape who I am and I am aware that it is important for me to build on these qualities to hone my leadership qualities and help my society, nation and the world I live in.
