On the drive I look out the window watching each different fence pass in a field or on a busy highway while my father's country music plays. I know this when we get to Highland, because we always pass this little white church that could probably only hold 15 people. Once we hit the rocky road that takes us to our camp, we have to unlock at least 3 fences which are very old and make a creaking noise every time you open them. We usually see the cubs with their mom or some fawns running around as we open the field fence. When we get to camp, my dad unloads all our heavy equipment, opens the welcome door to our camp and brings everything in, while he does that I go to the four wheeler in our little wooden shed and go to open the big metal heavy fence leading into the charming wonderland, woodland looking and setting up our hunting blind. If you really pay attention when you open the fence, you can usually hear squirrels scratching up and down the trees and you can hear the quiet chirping of birds and grasshoppers. I turn on the off-road vehicle, regretting it, go about a mile or two, and set up the tent in the freezing weather for me and my dad. If you are there in the woods you only think about the wonders of mother nature, you never know what to expect
