During the year, many family members get involved in the daily routine of life, be it school, work or personal matters. It's like no one takes a minute to breathe and reflect on their life. Luckily, this once-a-year family reunion is a nice event to humble everyone who comes and bring everyone together, not only physically but emotionally as well. Being the second youngest in the family, it was difficult to see all my older relatives move away from the family for unavoidable reasons such as: going to college or getting a job in another city or state. While this is hard to see, it's nice to be able to have a period of time where we can all meet and talk to each other before real life responsibilities catch up to us again. For example, every year I talk to Ryan, one of my many cousins, and talk about school and life. Ryan is a year younger than me, which makes him the youngest in the family, and we were very close when we were younger. Nothing drastic happened to us moving away from us as close as people might think, but the responsibility of school became more important as we got older. This case of Ryan and I drifting apart due to unavoidable reasons is a great example of why having such a tradition is necessary and somehow
