Some might say he hasn't changed at all, as demonstrated by the repetition that begins at the end of the epic; that history more or less repeats itself. This is simply not the case. Gilgamesh has been through a lot on his long journey. His character clearly changes as his character and morals transform through each event. Eventually, Gilgamesh learned much and matured as a result. At the end of the epic it seems that he is satisfied with everything he has accomplished. In conclusion, Gilgamesh's perspective on life changes as he is no longer the man he once was
