During all the countless hours I was in their house I don't think I ever heard them argue with each other. They are the true definition of relationship goals. They go to church every Sunday morning together and always sit in the same places. I have so much respect for my grandfather because he never mistreated my grandmother. I'm also very lucky to have them because the two of them try to attend as many sporting events as possible. My grandmother had to have a kidney removed my senior year and was upset because she said she wouldn't be able to attend all my sporting events. Now he's better and the two of them can get back on the road and come watch me run track and will probably come to a lot of my baseball games this spring. It was a surprise to me when they showed up to my first college track meet last Friday just to watch me run. I had no idea they were coming until I saw my grandfather in the bathroom while waiting in line. After the race I went to talk to both them and my parents. It's always fun to talk to my grandfather because he makes you feel really good about yourself. After my soccer games he would always say, "I think the school is going to have to fill the field because you were running so hard you could see the grass flying everywhere."
