At the beginning of this movie, we are thrown into a scene where K and his partner are on their way to dessert to respond to an illegal "alien" who is trying to cross the border, it turns out that he is a real alien. What tells us that this is an alien is the use of this original sound effect created by the sound designer, it's hard to describe, but we'll leave it as an alien growl. This leads to an action sequence that ends with you killing the alien and exploding goo everywhere. Keep in mind that all of this happened in the first eight minutes, so obviously the director is really trying to throw us into this movie and make us feel comfortable with what this universe represents upfront. Once the scene ends we are shown a black armored truck pulling up near the alien scene and we get a little taste of the MIB theme as it is a MIB cleanup crew. Mixing it all together creates a perfect atmosphere for the rest of the films
