Lack of sleep can and will affect how any human being lives their normal life in the worst ways imaginable. Without the right amount of sleep for the brain, the mind will become confused and even sore. The right and necessary amount of sleep can prevent things like brain damage and even heart problems, but without the right amount of sleep, things are bound to happen in the near future and harm the life of any human being. Lack of sleep will affect the life of every human being, man, woman and child, in horrible and tremendous ways that will damage that person's mind and body. Lack of sleep will affect every human being's life mentally, physically and shockingly, emotionally too. their normal daily life and make it not so normal. “The quality of your sleep can affect your waking life, including your mental acuity, productivity, emotional balance, creativity, and even your weight” (Smith et Al.). For example, suppose a student took a test in the morning, as did his friend, one student slept 5 hours and the other slept 9 hours, the one with 5 hours is bound to do worse than his friend, because no he slept enough. In other words, the mind feeds on rest and without it it cannot function properly, so it is better to get some rest after a hard day at work. Due to the few hours of rest, it can almost feel like drinking alcohol, the body will feel sick and drowsy and will not want to do anything (About). Whenever someone tries to perform a high-level thinking task, without getting enough sleep, the mind will not function properly and the person will most likely end up confused and may even give up on what they are doing.
