In the year 1897, Bram Stoker releases the crown jewel of the 20th century: his vampire epic Dracula. Since Dracula, Transylvania and castles have been associated with vampirism, the world has become “bloody”. There are slight deviations from the novel, but most of them are quite partial to the novel. Worldly visions show Dracula as an old man with a new face. The beginning of Bram Stoker's Dracula was the melting pot of recreations and incarnations of the world's deadliest bloodsucking vampire, Count Dracula. On a bumpy train ride to the peaceful and picturesque landscape of Transylvania, a man named Jonathan Harker is set to visit one of his boss' clients, a man named Count Dracula. Upon arrival, Jonathan pledges to “Come freely. Go safe; and leave something of happiness…” (Stoker 23). But slowly, Jonathan realizes that he is becoming a prisoner in the Count's castle and that his host is a vampire! Ultimately, after surviving three months in the castle, Jonathan escapes with his dear life. He returns to London and puts together a gang to defeat the "devil", freeing the world from evil. Killing Count Dracula greatly diminishes the evil of the world, but not entirely. The reason is that Satan (or a satanic figure) can never be completely extinguished. He will come back to haunt us with his dark power. Which is an interesting perspective, if you think about the real “Devil”. When Bram Stoker wrote Dracula, “he based his vampire on a real historical figure. Stoker's role model was Vlad IV Dracula” (“Vlad Dracula”). The name Dracula in Romanian means "Devil". Vlad was a terrible person, known as the "Impaler" ("Vlad Dracula"). This is a beautiful name for a terrible tyrant. In the vampire novel Dracula... in the center of the paper... great success with the public. Gary Oldman achieved fame thanks to his portrayal of the Count. The fine details of this character make it a big hit among fans. Towards the end of the 1990s, the vampire era slowly wanes. But miraculously in 2008, Twilight comes out to a wide audience, and the vampire epic is returned to its old style, with a new theme for future generations: love between humans and vampires. Count Dracula is written into vampire history and lasts to this day. He is now indisputably the most famous vampire in the world. Count Dracula is the lasting legacy that Bram Stoker leaves on this Earth. Even today, he has never been able to hide from the aura of vampirism and awe that he leaves behind today. At the dawn of the vampire age, Bram Stoker's Dracula put a spark into the fire of vampire culture that has grown into the 21st century..
