When we think of high-need schools, we usually think of inner-city schools. These are known to need help and have a low level of performance on standardized tests. We don't usually hear about rural schools. These schools are just like inner city schools and struggle with performance and attendance. Even though these children may not live in the same type of environment, they still come from the same type of background. Their families may not have much money or their parents may not have graduated high school. However, we tend to focus on city schools. Some people may not even think that a rural school is a school that needs help or is a low-performing school. Related to social justice Education levels will vary substantially across rural regions of the Americas. Most rural communities fall into one of four general types. These types include those rich in amenities, those in transition, those dependent on declining resources, and those chronically poor (Ulrich, p.1). Chronically poor communities, compared to amenity-rich, transitioning, and declining communities, experienced significantly lower levels of education. Nearly 14 percent of chronically poor migrants report not having completed high school. In these communities the father had lower levels of education than the mother (Ulrich, p.2). The educational level of parents is very important for their students. When parents place a high value on education, their children are more likely to receive encouragement and financial support to continue their education. If parents are uneducated, they will typically not push their children to progress in their education. An education will also help with better work, allowing parents to get the help the child needs for...... half of the paper... this is required to have a certain GPA or grade point. This will help them by giving them motivation to do better in school and get good grades. They also have to show up at school to participate in this activity. This can be an incentive for students. By taking part in an extra activation at school, you can show students what it's like to work towards something and get something else out of it. I would also suggest to teachers and something I will use is to develop relationships with students. Help students feel welcome in the classroom. You also need to provide additional help to students who need it. Our job is to be there for these children and help them excel in life. We spend 6 or more hours a day with these children and if you make them feel scared or unwelcome, they are much less likely to come to school and do well.
