What is economic globalization? The world is becoming smaller and smaller with each passing day. This is not in terms of the actual size of the Earth, but rather its reduction in size due to globalization. In simple terms, it can be said that globalization is the free movement of resources across borders. Globalization has more to do with cross-border issues or rather internationalism. Technology is making this effect possible. Like never before, the world is vastly interconnected, and reaching someone at one end of a continent from the end of another continent is as easy as reaching a fellow villager in the real neighborhood. The world is becoming a small village. With this in mind, economic globalization can therefore be described as the economic interdependence of the economies of different countries around the world. This is a result primarily of increased international movement or exchange of goods and services, technology, capital, knowledge and ideas.
