I didn't want to seem ignorant or ask too simple a question. Yes, I've heard the saying "there's no such thing as a stupid question," but I have a feeling we've all heard a stupid question at one time or another. Before asking a question I made sure to look at everything, maybe take a break and come back to it, Google the answer, and even ask another intern. If that didn't lead me to a solution, then I would ask for assistance. When I asked for help, I made sure to follow all the steps to let my team and those I worked with know that I had made an effort to try to solve the answer on my own. This technique proved useful as I was able to spot my mistake 50% of the time, but I wonder how much time I wasted relying on my knowledge instead of just looking
