What makes someone lie? What drives a person to steal? Could it be someone's personality that drives someone to cheat? Enclosed in every literary work there is a considerable amount of conflict. Whether it's a small, inessential issue between characters or a gigantic, immeasurable issue within the main character, most readers would quickly lose interest if these conflicts didn't exist. As a result, authors add such conflicts to increase excitement in their literature. Likewise, locked within every person lies a dark side that usually involves something they try to hide or purposely hide. Deep inside me exists my jealous side. Jealousy is known to distort human emotions and is known to lead to harm and revenge towards others. On the other hand, the type of jealousy I possess only manifests itself in relationships and I have a hard time shutting it out.
