Intelligent technologies and machines have invaded our world. Sophisticated technology has fascinated people, professionals, students and children. Modern life encourages the daily use of computers. Currently, applications in advanced robotics have appeared so real that one can believe that a humanoid robot will be able to interact or work side by side with people in the near future. In her January 18, 2010 article, Natasha Lomas researches whether people are ready for the future biomechanical revolution, whether robots will be ready to fit safely into society.
