Jazz is usually associated with the saxophone, which was my preconceived idea, but in this case the double bass and guitar were used to create a harmonious jazz sound. Ben Taylor began songs by strumming the bass at what seemed like high speeds but actually came out with solid meter sounds. This sound was slightly general, but that was only because Lamonte Parsons almost immediately started playing guitar to start the song with his mix. This is how most of the song goes, but in every song they play together there's a moment where Parsons builds to the point where he finally stops and Taylor starts playing his solo where he closes his eyes and strums the Bass. He played with such enthusiasm that it made you think the sounds coming from his bass must be ragged and disorganized but that wasn't the case. They were beautiful sounds that you could tell were why Parsons chose him to be part of Lamonte Parsons
